Pitched down in Cornwall Newquay and its going to be 45 mph winds all day tomorrow

Got the Vango 5 panel pump up wind break up and was wondering if anyone has experience of these out in these speeds

Got some extra straps over it

Dont really want to take it down

Last week was at a CL just above Seatown beach, near Chideock. One night the van was really rocking and the buffeting of the wind sounded like someone was banging on the back of the van. The moho next door, and closer to the prevailing wind had a framed awning up, albeit on the leeward side, which, surprisingly, survived with only one throw-over strap which worked loose. Must have been gusting 35 knots plus.

More Easterly tonight could reach 50mph. Not so bad for Newquay but if you're facing open space East It's going to be fun for you !
