Rally 3f's Meet - With A Difference - 4/8/22 To 9/8/22 - Page 17 More Details #501

cliffanger hi Geraldine found this the other day when I was looking for things to do in and around Selby
I’ve already printed that one out Kate! Apparently there are 4 walks in the area. 👍

Hi Lisa and Terry

Did you enquire about a tour of the power station at all, I don't want to ask if you have already been told no ;)

Please could anyone have a look at my awning which is not closing properly at the rear. Thule Omnistor.

Yep, no problem
Bring a can of silicone spray with you if you can, which is essential liquid maintenance for awning mechanisms, and thats the from Thule fitters in Menen. ;)

Shout again when we all get there. (y)
We might need to borrow a pair of step ladders from someone if possible.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

From memory last time we were there we walked to a village a mile or so up the road and got a bus to Selby, the bus ride lasted longer than the visit to Selby.🙂

Hi Martin,

Really sorry, I don't know if you have asked this before but we have not been in touch with the power station. There has been too much going on unfortunately. You are welcome to make your own enquiries (y)
Thanks

Thanks Steve. Cliff has another question - did you stay at the actual site? How easy is it to fill up with water? Don’t particularly want to drive over 200 miles with a full tank.

A ladder often helps too!! I will put mine in the bus if I remember!
I already have an extending ladder Jev, but a step ladder may be more useful, to reach the middle joints once the awning is deployed. (y)
Mind you, when you are about, who needs a blooming ladder?

I'd certainly be up for a visit, if it comes off thanks Martin. (y)

Cheers

Jock. :)

No problem Jock, as way of compensation I have two cucumbers to give away

For anyone that needs it...... tools onboard including step ladder. I was having a home garage sort out anyway so no hardship piling tools and stuff to be loaded in the morning. Payments in Rum are very agreeable if you borrow a tool. (I joke of course)

Lisa
We are moving in 2 weeks and the estimator can only come ...tomorrow afternoon! So we will arrive on Friday probably late afternoon given likely traffic round London.

Many thanks David & Penny

Good evening
Long shot I know but has anybody got a thermocouple for a dometic gas hob that I can buy from you and maybe give me a hand fitting it iver the weekend.
Thanks in anticipation
Gary

I'll have my weigh scales with me. Anyone wanting their moho weighed seek me out don't request on here as I'll be off line. Takes 5 minutes and requires the vehicle to move forward a few feet and back again, all for a donation to the rally charity. Sorry won't do tag axles.

I can't help with the supply of the thermocouple Gary, but if you manage to source one, I can help you to fit it. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)
