3D printing

I use the sunlu dryers. The difference it can make is astonishing. Quick tip. Look closely at your nozzle while purging some filament. If you see it steaming as it extrudes, you need to dry it for 24hours, possibly longer. Moisture in your filament not only gives you an ugly finish, but weakens your prints.

I use this one. It’s more effective than the S1. The S2 has a little fan that drys filament quicker. Worth every penny.

Thanks, was wondering which one when you said that. And I definitely have some wet filaments now, so well worth investing.
When I started doing 3d printing, the dryers cost more than the printers, so glad the price has reduced now.

Do you you have LPG caps for Gaslow or Gasit that are really stiff to remove like this. IMG_6887.jpeg
Mine have always been a pain to get off. Not anymore. I’ve designed and 3D printed super easy to remove ones. Much stronger and smarter than the originals. Have a look in my blog if you fancy one.

The Creality dryer is on sale now on Ali Express. It’s slightly more expensive than the Sunlu S2 but better put together, internal PSU and better UI.

Do not buy the very cheap Sunlu S1 btw (I’m told, no experience)
