3 days over New Year in UK - Where would you go?

I would suggest the C&CC site in Chertsey.

Near to you , nice pubs nearby and lovely walks along the Thames.

We're going to Skysea campsite at Port Eynon, The Gower Peninsular for New Year again.
Stunning scenery, beach 100 yards away, pub 150 yards that does nice food.
Arriving 28th December leaving 2nd January.
A few motorhomers go there for New Year.
Bit far from Bedfordshire for a few nights though I suppose.
If not sorted, I have posted a potential rally in Rally Chat if of interest.

We’re heading to Looe for the street celebrations and fireworks at 6pm and midnight on NYE. Nearest conventional site to stay on within yomping distance is Tencreek, a bit pricey but they will have all the facilities open including bar, restaurant, entertainment, etc.
Is that the place recently featured on TV camping series

Not spent a Christmas and or NY in UK for decades. This/next year will be no exception.
This year Dubai, last year Australia.
Bit far away for a 3 day break.

Only been once onroute to ferry for one night stayed for 4, Bridge Villa campsite in Wallingford about 2 hours from you. We would definitely return when touring the area, lovely small independent site lovely owner, 5min over bridge to town. On SFS Great reviews and I would imagine town and walks along the river would be lovely at Christmas/New year. Hope you find what your looking for 👍
Last time I was there it was a bit soggy .so parked on hard standing waiting for the pitches to dry off.
Then noted down to.pitch pulled on told to put wheels but flagstone .
Started to slide stopped handbrake on and that how I stayed.
Owner was happy with the unorthodox angle as the grass was not destroyed.
Nice site nice owners. It was spotless in the loos and toilets until the weekenders turned up .

How about the hospital car park to optimise your time in the van
You obviously have not seen the cost of parking in a hospital recently, even with the staff discount.

A luxury campsite with full facilities would be considerably cheaper.

Jasmin Campsite run by Jim is a great stop for christmas/new years. Nice and quiet, hard standing and hookup etc.
Not far from beach and decent bar in town.

If not, then Happyford CL in Louth. Just on the outskirts. Quiet and a steady walk into town. Lots of pubs and restaurants. But probably too late to book there as they are very popular.

The rest of my favourites are in North wales and I haven't been for a while so don't know their status.
Just looked there not open:crying1:, been there a few times

Weekly ticket.I've used 3 or 4 in the south west & rarely pay over a fiver for the weeks parking.
