240v connection query

You said earlier that the fuse feeding the EBL had blown. It blew for a reason, which I suspect was the EBL going faulty. I know you have changed the fuse, but if it has gone putt then the chances are it won’t blow the fuse again, because it’s dead. Out with the wallet. xroll:

All I can think is that he joined in September last year but didn't renew this year so is now using '5 free' posts as a guest (ie that he's allowed since he became a non-member).

@Jim???

A possibility....but I would expect read only as you can't register the same ip address twice, once as a member then again as a guest.

Most likely slipped through the net.

Yeah, weird ain't it! :xgrin:

I've never found EBL fussy on the secquence you connect the battery but a duff battery connected to them when powered from the mains will blow them. So previous own may have left the duff battery in circuit, if not your battery at 8.5 will certainly :swear2: it.
What type of battery are you getting? As anything other than a Gel I wouldn't use a LR1218 regulator.

I need to go to SpecSavers, just noticed the post I replied to was last March.:Eeek:
