2019 Twins

We are awaiting the Matrix Supreme 670DC , also from Signature. We haven't heard anything for about 3 weeks .
That looks a lovely spacious van, I bet you can’t wait to get your hands on it!
Ours was delivered to the dealer a couple of weeks ago and is having a few bits added, the paperwork didn’t come through as it should so it’ll be another week or so before we can have it.
Hopefully your van will be in the next ‘Adria batch’ that comes into the country - just in time for some nice weather!

I get the distinct impression (including my own experiences of them) that Signature is a bit disorganised when it comes to motorhome admin. They seem to struggle in getting a van to a customer on a pre-determined date and there's always some excuse waiting in the wings of why it wasn't delivered on time.

Woo hoo, Geoff Cox just called to say ours is in. We're going up on Weds to check it out and make the final commitment, then get some bits and pieces added before pick up mid April...

Excited :-)

Geoff Cox guys are great, very efficient and helpful beyond belief, youre in safe hands!(y)

For info
Like for Like, Geoff Cox were £9000 more than Signature on my cost-to-change for exactly the same new van

Not on this one, we’ve been doing a whole lot of searching!

I myst have caught them on a bad day:D

Back after 1st weekend away in new van(Anglesey)

Im well and truly converted to the PVC world
So much less wallowing
My good lady drove all the way back, thats a bonus

Also 31mpg overall with an engine done just 250 miles, really delighted with that, and MUST get better as it loosens up

Couple of tiny tiny snags, let’s see how Signature deal with them

Woo hoo, sounds brilliant and Anglesey is great too. What were the niggles? Hope nothing too difficult to fix.

How was the shower/toilet duplex system? (also interested to hear what the niggles were)

Shower is the game changer we thought it would be

1/. Sky roof pleated blind has a 10mm tear in one of the folds

2/ opening front roof has ( very slight) wind noise when travelling

3/. Truma control panel has “spongey” feel and doesnt “click” every time. This will only get worse, is a faulty switch

Also fridge had no beer or wine pre-installed :D:D:D

Hey great to catch up on this thread as I’m picking up my 2019 van this Friday, I have serious excitement insomnia (as one can see from the time!) as I fret about things not going right.

My vans been down the road for about 21 days as I brought the NEC show model. I spotted a few niggles from being a display model. Tiny scratch on cooker glass and sticky blind over dinette. They agreed to change these. I’ve had 2 x extra 3 pins added and additional USB in the bed area.

What’s held me up is DVLA. Registration but now resolved in 2 weeks.

Very excited and-booked a short trip to Stratford Upon Avon which is nearby to do test run!

Any twin specific advice or tips welcome !

It’s the twin plus, someone beat me by a day to the last supreme they had, I felt waiting until October wasn’t worth the larger sky window, so I made compromise with myself.

Very exciting as it’s now officially new Van week !

Yes twin beds, as if wanted :D

Same layout as us
Design wise we are very impressed so far. We keep “finding” little but impressive touches

Hope you love it too

Going from a vw California I’m just excited for the awesome bathroom and all that storage !

Photos to follow with that all important cheesy grin

Anyone of this thread got an SGX and could measure something for me?

@Cheshirecat57 Glad you enjoyed your first Twin weekend! Useful to see your list of little niggles - some things to watch out for!
Will be inspecting ours this weekend prior to it being delivered for us if DVLC don’t get their finger out before then.

Hi I really like the Adria Twin bed I wish they did one with a three way fridge as we are thinking about changing to a pvc next year.terry.

@tandc We were a bit concerned about that too but hoping that the solar panel will take care of it. We’ll see..

Out of interest how long did it take from the arrival of the vehicle at Signature to your completion?

If you order with the tall fridge (152 litres) ( not on the option list) its a new style Thetford that is quite low usage

Kept everything cool this weekend and hardly ran at all, also a quiet setting for night time
