2012 Adria Sonic - Windscreen wiper mechanism. (2 Viewers)

Hi All,

The windscreen wiper mechanism on my 2012 Adria Sonic (Fiat Ducato) has broken. As it is an A Class the mechanism is not Fiat and is bespoke made but a German company.

Adria no longer supply the part. I have emailed the German company with no response.

I wondered if it could be fixed somehow and if anyone knew a person/ company that could do it. I live outside Southampton.

Please see attached photos. In the meantime the motorhome is unusable

Find a bit of tube sleeve that will fit over the connecting tube and the stub and rivet or bolt through. Local engineering shop should be able to effect a repair.

As clivefog says it wouldn’t be a difficult job for any competent engineer to sort out,
Last month I had my wiper motor overhauled as they also were no longer available from Adria or
Valeo,
Unfortunately manufacturers do not have to supply parts 10 years after they cease making them,
