Been tralling through ebay and autotrader and came across a 1990 hymer 964 at well under budget... Bearing in mind that whatever we buy is going to be our home... Is it too old?... We love photography and want to go places in Scotland and around the uk.... Could one of them go around the hairpins on the Applecross pass or on the road to the quirang on skye.... Layout wise its great and the money left over could go towards a cambelt and new tyres before we really start getting out in it... Just not sure about parts and the age

By the way if you want something a bit newer but similar size this is an amazing price

Its not bad it's just not as nice as the other one the same price in my opinion

Agreed totally the second one is the only one I’d go for on the hymers.
The euromobil has a bit of work required but that’s a bargaining tool, insides clean and if it’s the same as our old 2.8 the engine is almost bulletproof, box might need checking at that age for fifth gear dropping.

I've found a 3rd one on ebay at the same price as the second but nowhere near as nice looking .

That one I posted at £11.995 was only listed last night and to be honest I don't think it will hang around long so if the op is interested I'd move sooner than later to view it .
Unfortunately the solicitors are dragging their feet in releasing my inheritance so it will probably be gone by the time my money comes through... That one from last night was perfect 😭😭😭😭

I’d ring them, he’s a small time dealer, has 3 for sale so will be used to people needing time to complete.
The one I’ve got now took getting on for 2 months to complete, this was my timeline not the dealers. That dealer sadly is no more but Ingot very good service from them and would have used them again.
Nothing to lose by ringing them, you don’t have it at present and even if you don’t get this one it puts your toes in the water. So you can start to get a feel for what will suit you both. You might hate it if you go see it, which I would advise you to do.

I'll phone tomorrow after i pick my girlfriend up from west sussex... It's a hell of a trek from Swansea to Lincoln to go see it. See how long he'll keep it if i give him a deposit if we like it... Just checked the insurance and its 70 quid a month so not too bad
