SOLD 1958... Edsel Pacer... 2£.K off original Price..

Did you try Mathewson's, could get you the best price with no hassle or tyre kickers.

No Chas.... I`m not really up to it..... just want to sell it and get it out of the way...
Thanks all the same mate.. :hugs:

wrong time of year to sell Mo. it needs to be seen shining in the summer sun. most buyers would be worrying where to store it safely over winter

One phone call and they will fetch it and sell it and send you the money, a lot less hassle than having to deal with buyers yourself.

Update on"Ed"...

Not renewing the add on Fleabay....

Mathewsons "Auctioneers".... Have agreed to come and have a look, and either buy it or put it through the auction after this next Saturdays Auction... (I think it`s next Sat..).... So will be in an auction in a few weeks...
At least it will be out of the way and looked after till it is bought or sold... (I hope.. :giggler: ..)

But I will stand by what I said originally and if a Funster wants it they can have it for £15K...
But I will not drop it any lower, as the auction people think it worth a lot more..
And it may be on TV in the future....:wink::wink:

Wish I had £15K and somewhere to put it. That’s a lot of car for little money. Good luck with sale Mo.

Just a thought for the collective here

old-mo do you still have storage for this at your new place?

how about a number of us get together and own a part each, with Maurice keeping an equal share

20 of us at £1K each including old mo would give £19K to Mo and he would still have it to cherish, we would then share equally the insurance and running costs

it would work with 10 of us, but we would pay £2K each and Mo only get £18K

anybody wanting out in the future would be bought out by the remainders all paying 1/20th or 1/10th to the seller, if this doesn’t work for you Mo I apologise for the proposal

I would be up for this but cant justify buying it and can’t store it, but love the idea of owning a car built in the year I was born ?

I wish we were doing https://mathewsons.co.uk/ this weekend instead of next summer.
My Dad would love a look at your motor.
Are you going next year, we hope to get there shortly, seen everyone on the Tele, looks a fantastic place.

Thanks David.... Nice thought and idea...

But at the end of the day I would just like it to go to a nice home that would keep it original..
Hopefully if sold it wont go to some one who will mess around with it..
Not many around in the same condition.... here or the states..

Problem is you need a 21 foot garage just to store it..

Thanks again.. :hugs:

We are going next summer. We are doing the Pickering meet and hopefully will get to the auction. I phoned mathewsons and asked them for the auction dates for next year but they haven’t decided on them yet. They told me to give them a call in a couple of weeks. It’s on my Dads bucket list so I hope it all comes together.

old-mo are you going to the auction and getting your face on the tv?

Hey we could all have a jolly to Mo’s on collection day and all get on the telly. You could sell tickets Mo. Big banner for MH Fun behind.!

Where "Ed" is going up for Auction is on "Dave"... TV now.. (y)

Mathewsons on yesterday channel 9 o clock tonight

Did you see what that Mini Cooper went for.??????? :Eeek:

Absurd. It's Triggers Broom - "I've had it 20 years, only need 15 new heads and 6 new handles".

Makes you car worth about £20,000,000.

Mo we loved your car but know we wouldn’t have had the time to look after it properly, I hope you get a great price at Auction. Look after yourself.

How were you 'messed around' Mo, they seem pretty genuine and been there for donkeys years.
