180hp engine and 9 speed auto warnings

It's worth noting that Torque describes the amount of work done.
Power is the rate at which work is done.
Not really. Torque is a measure of turning force, expressed in Newton metres, not the amount of work done. Power for an engine is torque x rpm and can be expressed as kW or hosepower. The amount of work done is power x duration, and can be expressed as kWh.

Speaking as an ex Landover transmissions engineer who has worked very near ZF I can confirm they are one of the premier auto gearbox manufacturers worldwide.
If you were aware of how all auto firms do their development you should have no fears the gearbox is not up to the job.
Fiat maybe different but at JLR we would have vehicles in Saudi usually in ambients of 50°C or more , driving through sand dunes for hours on end.
Cooling on a motorhome should not be an issue.

This in theory a honda 50 engine suitably geared could drive a motorhome up a hill just very very slowly 🙂 (neglecting friction)
In the 1960's 70's I hated repairing Land rovers, good vehicles, but, some of the problems and design features were rubbish

Yes you are correct.
I did a fair amount of work on the old Defender , on it there are many examples of bad design or it would be more correct to say bad design in the light of the modern day.
One reason the old Defender had to go was the high warranty cost the company had to support on every one.
But remember the base design is circa 70 years old and to design out some of the problems was not feasible , commercially.
Didn't stop it being successful fortunately , when I worked there we sold about 400/wk. This figure did not vary much.
I left LR just before they put the Ford engine in.

sorry if all ready known

For which models is the update available?

The update is intended for Ducato models of the 8th generation equipped with the 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission , which are equipped with the 2.2-liter engines with 160 and 180 hp . According to Fiat, no above-average frequency of damage is known in connection with the 140-hp engine. According to Stellantis, the 2.3-liter diesel engines installed before the summer of 2021 are also not affected, although they have largely the same power and torque. In combination with these engines, however, no noticeable susceptibility to defects of the automatic transmission is known. Before the introduction of the new generation of engines, this combination was sold for several years without any noticeably frequent defects occurring. However, both the 140-hp engine with 2.2-liter displacement and the entire 2.3-liter engine range have a slightly different torque curve, with which the 9-speed apparently harmonizes. Only the torque curves of the 160 and 180 hp 2.2 liter seem to cause problems for the automatic transmission.
