I am hoping I can pick your brains as I am considering buying a small 12v tv/dvd for my very small campervan. I know that Avtex are the best all singing and dancing TV, but, very expensive. Any advice you could give me would be much appreciated . thanks

Aldi for me ,cheap and does all Iwant ,some brands that are aimed at carravanning ,motorhoming ,sailing etc , I think are well overpriced .

Before you spend lots of money have a think about a TV.
We bought one, can't remember the make but it was not expensive thankfully. It has been used, I think twice and one of those was when I fit it just to make sure it worked. Although we do sometimes watch TV At home we have not really wanted to whilst away on trips. Too much else to do.

PS this is in two years of ownership. Including two long trips of six weeks each.

I ended up buying an Axtex 16" and I have to say its brilliant, the main thing is it runs on very low current and it powers the Ariel through the TV as well. It also has a power indicator and will automatically turn off if the battery in you van gets too low. The picture can be viewed from any angle without going dark as some do and it has a one touch auto tune. It is expensive, I agree, but, quality is remembered long after price has been forgotten

I would have to agree with others on here, in terms of a blend of functionality and value for money, our 19" Cello Traveller is brilliant.
