12v splice/ T connectors

a strong second for wago's, but they don't help for an inline tap where your short of both cable and space, as they don't do a straight through 1 to 2 variant. I've used these successfully. only available on aliexpress AFAIK

Are these available in the UK rather than all the way from China?

Those look rather good, only downside I can see would be the weight of it hanging off the existing wires - unless the OP could find a way to stick the block to the inside of the cupboard provided there was enough free cable
Wago connectors are very light it won't be a problem.

Agree… a small piece of double sided tape on the back of the Wago wouldn’t hurt though. ✔️
If there is room to get a screwdriver in the hole there are little plastic clips to hold them in place, I've never found them necessary.

But if the cable itself is able to waggle around wouldn't it be better to let it all waggle ...🙄🙄

not that I have found. But Aliexpress Choice shipping usually comes in about a week, the tax/customs is always done up front so no delays there, and you get detailed tracking on the shipment every step of the way. honestly its great... I'm not joking when I say its often quicker than royal mail or evri economy from uk suppliers.

yeah I like 'em . aliexpress has umpteen variants with different number of ins and outs - they are in different listings, you have to hunt around. e.g. I bought a couple of 8-way to use as "busbars" for the wiring behind the radio that had a lot of common pos and neg supply lines (radio, cameras F/R/Side, monitor).

I wouldn't risk using them for their quoted 32A at 230V mind, I'd be using a Wago, but for getting low ampage 12VDC tidy, they're a good option.

they weigh nothing - and there is a mounting hole.
