Does anyone use a 12v fan in the Hab that will move a fair amount of air in hot weather ?
If so which one do you use ?

IIRC according to the Bernoulli Effect you don't need a big fan to move lots of air, even a small one will probably do the job. A small fan near or in a roof vent with some windows open on vent will create a gentle cooling breeze in even the hottest weather. We've experienced temperatures in the mid 30s and have stayed cool this way without aircon.

Others use a fan that matches their toolboxes, Dewalt/Makita/Hitachi as they already have the chargers and batteries

We use a Ryobi fan as we already have batteries and chargers. Works OK. Interested to read about the Caframo fan mentioned above. May well fit one in the bedroom as there is an unused 12v output for a TV.

I’ve got a 200mm 12v computer fan mounted in a Perspex frame I made controlled by speed controller that fits in the rear skylight. It’s wired of one of the roof lights.
Shifts a lot of air very quietly.

We have the fan in the ceiling at night to bring cool air in, then in the daytime the roof is hot so I move the fan to the window. I fitted a big resistor on it to slow it right down at night...

It's mains powered though, uses 2 amps via the inverter running at daytime speed, doesn't matter because the solar panel makes 9 amps.

The 12v one I made is good for nighttime in the ceiling but noisy if turned up during the day, plus it doesn't fit in the window anyway...

PS 👆 only runs at 0.5 amps on slow 😍
I love it when this picture gets reposted . Firstly because it’s a brilliant design and clearly it works well . Secondly because I know the getting hotter because people are asking about fans 👍🏻👍🏻

we have 3 x 150mm usb rechargeable 3 speed clip on fans that we use in the bedroom or anywhere for that matter, they were £9.99 each 3 years ago and tbh we thought they were very good.

On ehu we have a Truma Aventa Comfort roof mounted aircon unit which is great and even has a night mode
