12.4v, should it be higher?

You can't, Oh s***😁
This is my plan (gulp) - When I put the van in storage there will be 230ah in lithium leisure battery that will provide many weeks of maintaining any drop in cab battery voltage using a battery master, certainly enough for the length of time I store it for as I use van throughout the year. I will recharge the lithium either on ehu or when driving using the b to b. b to b will charge lithium nicely, my Swift on board charger not bad but not perfect, however, I am not going to let perfection be the enemy of good as they say, I never stop for more than a few nights and fridge, heating and cooker are all gas so 230ah lithium will see me through quite nicely, just a plan, will it work?
It will certainly give you a lot longer than starter battery alone, is there a reason why you don’t have a solar panel? I assume the van is stored outside so it seems logical.

Nothing against them, I may get a solar panel if it becomes necessary. I travel a lot in Autumn, Winter, Spring and thought I would try a lithium and see if negated the need for solar and give me a reliable source of power (for my particular type of van use ie moving regularly).

It seems that you have two scenarios: travelling in frequent hops, in which your B2B probaby suits your needs as it does ours.

Other scenario is stored but you do not say for how long.

As Funflair says fit a small solar array which will keep batteries going for any length of time. Lo

Thanks, unfortunately I don't have solar so looks like I might need to organise, pity I'm off again, would like to have seen if it drained further in storage, seems to have stabilised at 12.4.
I've used this over the past year to keep my MH engine battery in shape during the summer and when parked up on sites. EHU during winter:

6 weeks is the maximum I can recall it has ever been in storage, fortunate we have a large drive so I often bring it home to 'play with', when not out in it, and obviously stick it on ehu while its there. Separate note - How's the weather over in Poland, my wife and daughter are setting off for Warsaw tomorrow morning for 4 nights to see Beyonce.

Seen these before, like the idea. Do you happen to know if you can connect them to the + - posts in the engine bay or do you need to go direct to battery?

On the MiPhantom app my vehicle battery is always showing .5 of a volt less than it should, spoke to Phantom above calibrating
the read out but you might as well bang your head against a brick wall for all they care.

I've connected them directly to the battery. Please see pics.

This will not charge a flat battery, it's not designed for that but it will keep a fully charged battery charged for a few months depending on the drain from immobilisers, alarms etc.

Looks great, see your battery is in the engine bay, mine is under the floor inside the cab and although not difficult to get to its obviously easier to just lift the bonnet where there are jump start posts, not sure how much is lost between there and the battery. Thanks once again

Think you can get battery maintenance panels that plug into the 12 volt cig socket. I see that one seems to have a plug lead in the picture

It maybe worth putting a multimeter on the jump start posts and then the battery terminals to see if there is much of a loss between the posts and the battery.

We are in Alsace. Sunny, 26C with nice breeze.

Four days seems a long trip in a MH.

Do they know Beyonce has recorded?

Yes, however, any excuse to go back to Warsaw, my wife, myself and the kids (30’s!) go back as often as we can, love it all year round. Have a great time in the Alsace and enjoy their wonderful white wines
