100 GB for £20/Month

I have just signed up to Vodafone 100GB for my mobile for £20 a month but my contract with o2 has 2 months to go so intend to use the new sim in my mifi until then as noticed people had posted it was possible. Was intending to get a 50GB data only sim on 30day contract for £50 a month until I read I could use mobile sim in a mifi, saving me £10 a month. Can someone let me know that if I should put the sim in my phone to register for roaming before I cross the water. Have tried it in the mifi and seems to work ok n the U.K. Was going to register on Vodafone web site but they would send me a security code to my mobile which I wouldn't receive as sim not in phone. Looking forward to clarification from knowledgeable users.

Vodaphone sent me a text message to my Mifi device which has the ability read them.

Thanks @Ovalball will give it a go tomorrow as my new mifi does have a front screen.

If your MiFi is a HUAWEI item you can download the app and read the text messages on that.

I’ve tried my new 100gb sim in mifi and phone and all works well.

Andy.

Vodaphone offer finishes this thursday..I was lucky my old contract finished last friday so signed up for 100gb contract yesterday,,BUSBY:D:D

I'm new to this but is Vodaphone's coverage in Europe good?
I'm sold on the idea of a 4G mifi for the MoHo but was told that Three offer Netflix streaming that doesn't deplete your monthly allowance - effectively free data. Dunno what their Euro coverage is like though.

Vodafone is probably the best coverage in Europe.

Looks a great deal if I order on line can i give them the pac code when ordering to keep the same number?

Yes, you can keep your old number, when you register an online account with Vodafone their is a link you can click on to transfer your old number.

Just screwed down a deal with 3 unlimited data unlimited calling 12 month sim only £20 per. As 3pay is ending in April.
First guy in sales wouldn't come off £24 .
Went through customer care ,then sales possibly in Mumbai. Told him of vodaphone deal ,and the cash back mobile UK and it worked .
Told it works in phone ,mifi, tethering etc so waiting for new sim .

Thought it a velly jolly good deal :D

Setup the Mifi box and SIM card tonight, pleasantly straight forward. We use an Amazon Dot for listening to the radio and it’s working a treat.

Just ordered our 100gb SIM, last year we used EE's mifi, which worked well, but EE cant give anywhere near the Sim by Vodafone, and the EE mifi is locked to EE (obviously)

So what is the best mifi being used by FUN ? Any recomendations please .. J&K :D

So I got the sim from Vodafone. It worked in the iPad but there was no 4g in my area and only one bar of 3G so wouldn’t even open Netflix, let alone stream anything. I called them and they were very helpful, but eventually it seems that they are doing work on the network until June. So I’ve cancelled and will try Three who have the same offer, and as my phone is with them I’m hopeful it will work.
