I have been waiting a few months for the Eribacar 600 to arrive. It’s finally been built and made its way across the channel. We have visiting rights on Friday and shall pick it up after tracker etc in a week or so.
I was impressed by the original videos and have always liked Eriba caravans and their longevity/quality.
I drive a Crafter for Fareshare charity and they drive well.

We decided to add mini me to the family, with Mr Trucky (Frankia Platin Plus) still here.
Decision based partly as a gift to the children so they could use independently and going away with us, and partly as a potential protection against C1 at 70.

So will report soon as to my thoughts.

With apologies to those who dislike “wooshbangs”!

I’ve not seen these before. I do like the 602 model. Enjoy!

Seen these at Adventure leisure vehicles in Tebay and really liked them, hope you and the kids enjoy it.

I've always liked the Eriba style in Caravans. Yours looks really nice. Enjoy!

that's a smart looking van I hope it lives up to expectations

Nice van. Interesting interior colour combination.
I like that everything is covered in fabric, must be quiet inside.
Also love the rear windows and the waste water remote valve radio controlled sollution.
Interesting overall (y)

Nice, I've started to like whoosh bangs and have thought about getting one for weekends.

Like you I would want to keep our current van just to make sure.

That's a lovely looking van.(y)

PVCs are not for us, but only because they wouldn't serve our lass's needs. If she was fit and well then they could be a consideration.

I don’t like the term whooshbangs but I love PVCs, we are on our 4th and they’re great. Had no idea Eriba now did a motorhome. Love their little caravans. Happy holidays to you and your family.
I've often wondered why the manufactures of [Whoo Sliding door vans] don't poach an idea from industrial loading door sector and have a conventional hinged door incorporated within the the sliding door itself, thus giving the best of both worlds, potentially, or the worst where they can whoosh bang and slam as the fancy takes them 🤷‍♂️

Looks Great. Wonder how it compares to the Grand California.

Not sure - some of the grand californias look a little top heavy for a cross wind.

As I said, I do like the style and build quality of the Eriba caravans, so we shall see.

We love the Frankia, but at 8m and 2.35m wide it’s a big beast to take out just for a night or two. Also in e.g. Norway, my wife could admire the views when all I did was watch out for cliff edges - either that or miss the views by taking an expensive tunnel.

We shall see how we get on on a much smaller space. Either way, it will give my daughters (and one SIL) freedom to enjoy what we enjoy and to meet us up on sites. We may keep both or (shock horror) tow an Eriba caravan with mini me!!

As one ages, one realises that time spent with kids you like is precious.

have always liked Eriba caravans and their longevity/quality.
I think these days are over..

I have an Eriba Troll Touring 540 GT Caravan.. . and sadly, much as I love it , the built quality has taken a nose dive from my previous Hymer products..
Eriba Nova caravan 2007, and a Hymer B544 motorhome 2001 both of which were fantastic quality ..

This caravan has so many faults , cupboard doors that fall off, bathroom door that came off and found on the floor .. "wood" has now been replaced by some sort of veneered composite board that doesn't hold screws. so things fall apart.
I wont go on.. there is a FV owners group that has a catalogue of failures and problems.

Build quality has gone downhill since Hymer were bought out by Thor Industries in 2019

I really hope you are not disappointed with it, it does look great ..

Took a slow drive down the M5 carpark as had visiting rights to see Eribacar.
First impressions are good - general build quality good apart from rather flimsy bathroom door.
Happy that 100l water is inboard. Heater is joint EHU & diesel.
Decent storage although no ward road as such.
Fridge is a good size.

Getting tow bar, solar panel and second battery fitted.

Picking up 14th August🚎
