At £38+ as per the title it’s definitely a bargain.
At £38k+ I leave the verdict to Hymer owners.

I would not buy anything newer than 2007-2008We are currently looking for a used motorhome. How long is a 2008 motorhome likely to last before rust etc claims it? Is it just a case of who knows? Just thinking that if they are all on the same base, the fact it’s a Hymer won’t help in this regard and we would be better going for the newest we can afford regardless of manufacturer. What do people think? Our budget can rise to more than £38k but have seen a couple I like the look of.
motorhomes are not like cars. Provided they are maintained they are good for 300,000 miles plus. The van they were based on was designed for this. Just general maintenance will keep them going, plus never neglect to change the timing belt every 5 years regardless of mileage. The main killers are rust underneath and damp in the bodyworkJaws, you say you wouldn’t buy newer than 2007-2008 - how long would you expect a van already 12 years old to last? Would you expect to get another 10 years? Typically what would you expect to start needing replaced?
I fully agree, build quality before these dates far far superior on Hymers and all other makes.I would not buy anything newer than 2007-2008
You only have to look at the build quality to see what I mean
