Emm Bee Motorhomes

Like most rogue dealers Emm-Bee are OK until they have your money. After this they are really poor. It has now taken 9 months to fix my awning and its still no closer to being resolved. Burstner accepted the fault although Emm-Bee did not feel confident to fix this and have asked if they can find someone to come out and fix this for them. I live just south of Manchester and they told me they had spoken to South Downs and another dealer in Devon. I mean really............very unprofessional, massively inefficient and customer service is not a concept they are familiar with. If this is not fixed within the next month I aim to start legal proceedings and have already wrote to trading standards. Please, please do not use these as once they have your money, you can forget getting any support.

We bought our first motorhome from EmmBee in summer 2018, a new Carado T449 which was supplied from stock.

We can't recommend the firm highly enough:

• Good range of stock, well displayed, variety of brands - both new and pre-owned.
• Sales staff are helpful, honest and not pushy.
• Reasonably quick time to being able to collect (about 6 weeks) - and this was all driven by the workshop schedule because we wanted a few extras fitted.
• Work was done to a good standard and everything we asked for was completed as per spec.
• Handover was thorough but not overwhelming. Van was immaculately presented.
• Deposit was small and payment terms (electronic before handover) seemed fine to us. Next time we might visit and check van is fine before payment and collect on another day - just to be on the safe side. No concerns about this firm, just that would seem to be usual prudent practice when handing over 2 kidneys and a liver-worth of cash.
• We were introduced to the after-care team on collection.
• Comms throughout (mostly email) were quick and comprehensive.

We have no connection to the firm/staff - we found them via internet searches. They were niot the closest to us, but when we visited we "clicked". They will be our first contact for after care, servicing and annual checks, even if it is an hour away.

If you are within reasonable driving distance we would recommend them for both new and pre-owned purchases.

Sad to be leaving this great company who have offered excellent service during the last seven years. Looked after both my Elegance and Grand Panorama always doing their best, top people.

Only leaving as my new van is not a Burstner and they don't sell the brand I wanted, if they had it would have been from them.
