Moving on again today, we were up and off just before 8.30am. Fairly straightforward drive to our next destination which is Saint Andre de l’Eure a small village near Evreux. We stopped once for coffee and arrived around 20 past 12. We had some luck on the way as we arrived at one village to find the “route barre” sign and bollards blocking our way. A chap in a van appeared from the opposite direction and moved the bollards aside so he could drive through. I indicated could we go through and he nodded yes! We gingerly drove through the bollards and the road surface had been removed but there was no work taking place so we slowly edged our way through! Phew! Got to the camping carpark and we were the only ones there.

Set up and then had lunch around 1pm. Later in the afternoon we had a wander round the village, found a boulangerie and got bread and some treats!

There is a pond by the carpark, looked a little green and full of algae but people were fishing from it!

Had 3 more vans arrive during the afternoon and the busy road quietened down when the traffic lessened. Cooked tea and washed up. Watched the last episode of the series we’ve been watching on my iPad before getting ready for bed.
