I've been full-timing since 2013 and spent the majority of my time touring Europe. In 2020 I took up Spanish residency for a number of reasons. As a result I had to sell my uk-registered Swift Sundance 630L, a reliable platform on the Ducato chassis and with a great rear lounge, and last year I bought a spanish-registered CI 650XT with a totally different layout but a huge island bed, massive garage and full-size fridge. The Ford Transit chassis is much more stable than the Ducato, probably due to the wider rear wheelbase and the 170bhp engine is very smooth. Due to several factors including travel restrictions,selling and buying vehicles, medical appointments and other commitments my travel plans haven't exactly gone to plan but that should finally change and normal service can be resumed!
