After 25 yrs motorhoming hubby’s health meant caravanning seemed a better option. 4 years and 2 new caravans later I’ve thrown the towel in and bought an elderly Bessacar with a fixed bed for hubby and a luscious 2.8 engine for me. No more worrying about nose weights, wing mirror positions, pot holes, traffic jams & levelling before putting the kettle on. Now I can make the boss a cup of tea within minutes of parking up and take dog for a calming walk! Bliss! Not sure bout the alarm, the big dome thing which is an aerial and the huge solar panel which will make roof cleaning complicated. But she reminds me of our first Hymer - well built, solid and practical. Stayed a member of this wonderful group so feel confident in having a panel of experts on hand. Must now send for a sticker.

Welcome, is "the big dome" thing not a satellite dish? it is on ours.
Cheers, Dave

Thanx Davejen thanks for that - yes have a leaflet which says Omnistat Dome Max view user manual. So it’s a posh satellite dish I guess. It details cleaning and apart from that just on and off info. Guess I mustn’t park under trees etc then. Can see me sticking to the radio!!
