Can anyone recommend a site as close as possible to the Worcester Racecourse please?

Have you tried the various websites? I can’t think of one in Worcester. There is the marina in Droitwich but unless you have transport that would be a bus ride.

There is always wyre piddle the midsummer mhfun meet run by Emmit.at Avon bank meadows.
But he won't let you on till 1pm. (y)

The site by the Ketch Bath Rd (A38) had tourers on the other week. Bus into town 2 pubs close by. (Has been closed been replacing the static’s ) you would need check first. There’s Mill house caravan and boat yard just off A449 at Hawford. There’s Peachley caravan and camping park WR2 6 QT. A Google search will give you more

This the only one I know of never stopped there with van but seen a few motorhomes parked there.

You can camp now where Janine mentioned
On the river side beside a caravan park being revamped
We pad it daily and have seen Motorhomes and tents
There’s a riverside path all into the city and racecourse

You can however park a Motorhome ( nit at all sure if overnighting) both in the riad nextvto the racecourse by the river - very busy !!
Or on the car park next to the racecourse under the railway bridge

The Old Bush pub in Callow End has a small campsite looks all right but bus service into town is rubbish

Seaborne Leisure, Kempsey - south of Worcester on A38 has a few touring pitches and a small Inn on Thursday to Sunday evenings. Bus and taxi or good stretching walk down to Worcester via the river Severn. Usually bike it myself 😊

We stayed at Ketch campsite on banks of river Seven. 2 miles from town centre.

I have a friend who regularly stays on croft rd carpark. That's the one next to railway viaduct.
Most of the other places have been mentioned already. I would chose the one next to the Ketch because there is a regular bus just down the road towards town.
The Camp inn at Grimly (proper pub) has a small site and it a plesent riverside walk (not short) down to the new bridge at the north end of pitchcroft.
