Hi all,
My name is Alan, I'm an electronic engineer and have been in the industry for over 30 years and repair mostly anything with an electric current.

I recently completed a self build on a Mercedes sprinter and have gone down the route of sourcing a satellite system, I currently have the vintage Oyster Vision 2 which I have rebuilt and looking to upgrade it's firmware hence why I'm here.

If I can help in anyway shape or form then give me a nudge. Look forward to talking on the threads

• 3k pure sine inverter
• 2 x 12v AGM 105ah leisure batterys
• 2 x 400w solar panels
• Victron MPPT 100 Controller
• 230vac 30amp AC7 stage charger
• Renogy 60amp 12VDC to 12VDC dual charger.

The Vision II system you have can still be updated to receiver the UK TV signals which we can talk you through over the phone. If you'd like to give us a call on 01858575928 when you are with the system either myself or my colleague Pat will be able to assist. Also, welcome to the forum!
