This does NOT mean free standing, but actually parking in public parking lots, but also at taverns, dig sites, etc.
If more than one motorhome is there, fines up to €300 can be imposed.
This law is not thought through from front to back, because those who travel in their motorhome also have to go shopping or want to see something.
In practice, the use of motor homes and caravans is abolished by both Greek citizens and foreign visitors in this way.
So now there is a petition that counts for every vote.

And yes, even if you go on vacation at a campsite, this law applies to you, because you have to get there first - without stopping anywhere.
