After a minor damage to the unit top separating the twin beds in our Bailey 79-4t which has been repaired by me, I thought it would be appropriate to advise members that I have purchased a piece of acrylic picture frame glass to sit on top of this unit to prevent any further damage. It is really solid and looks good.

Some of these drawer tops, etc in a Motorhome are so flimsy that anything dropped (by accident) will cause a hole to appear. This solution will hopefully prevent further damage to our Moho.

‘Simply Plastics’ cut to size and will deliver.

Show us a pic?

The good thing about acrylic is it doesn't shatter like perspex can - and is cuttable with a jigsaw or other fine blade.
I've made headlight protectors out of it -you can even put a bend in it by heating over a flame

Perspex is an ICI trade name of Acrylic. Shatterproof plastics are Polycarbinates

It’s actually Polycarbonate, but yes, it’s much stronger than acrylic.
It used it for the side windows on the car I built.
Got the curve by heating them over a former in an oven at work.
