Suspension seat posts and good quality panniers recomendations

How is the seat=backside interface going ? Still enduring the uncomfy seat or have you found a replacement?
Hi
I would love to say we have been out enjoying the weather but unfortunately I promised to finish our house off this yr so we havent been out
I must admit i had been quite nieve as i thought you just had to put up with pain

C17 Brookes the best you can get I would say. Did LEJOG last year with a brookes, no issues at all. Only thing is have to do approx 500 miles to settle it in and then you will find it's like sitting on your sofa

Should I be embarrassed to confess I have a Suntour suspension seat post on my eBike? It took a little bit of adjusting to get the right level of suspension for my weight but now i'm very happy with it . I bought it 3 years ago for £65 - they are now on amazon for £99.

In order to reduce the risk of trapping anything, i did buy a cover for the moving parts!

I'd class myself as an occasional rider - hoping to do more now ive retired. That means Id rather not buy top priced kit for cycling - but each to their own!

If riding for a longer time I have some padded undershorts which i wear under walking or other loose fit shorts and find that this works for me.

As others have said. You need to "break-in" a saddle to suit.
As an aside our Dawes Galaxy is up for sale. £1000 ono.
