I'm a newbie
We need to get an external windscreen cover for our new (to us) PVC. As storage space is limited in our small van we are looking for a screen cover with a small pack size. It also has to work with fitted Remis blinds on a 2024 Ducato.

Any suggestions? Ta 😊

Comfort leisure one packs small but you need to extend the pocket to allow for later remis blinds, they fit without extending but are tight and rain wicks in really easy. Extend with two strips of 4" wide Velcro sewn on.
for comparison my prior van had a taylormade cover which packed was twice the size of the comfort leisure cover.

Thanks 😊 We will have a look at the Comfort Leisure one, although I am wary about water leaks!

We read that the Polar screens pack a bit smaller than Silver Screens or Taylormade, if anyone has any experience of these?

We have also soon Optima mentioned as having a small pack size, but don’t know if they would fit Remis blinds

When we had our last van a PVC they came with a set from Germany that packed very small. They also supplied internal ones for the back doors which made a big difference in winter, I think they were called Hinderman or similar, we had no issues with them in 4 years.

Thanks - I’ll have a look for the Hinderman screens.

Yes, it probably is a compromise between insulation and pack size, but if it’s too big a pack then we can’t take it with us, so no insulation!

Perhaps if you had a chat with Taylormade, I've always found them very helpful, they might be able to supply something thinner or separate velcroed side blinds that could be put into a smaller bag from the screen to help storage?

I too, would THINK that thinner means less insulation but who knows? 🤔

Hinderman is well respected and built to meet German weather conditions.
They are quality ,I looked at them but was too tight to pay the price
