Hi all

Removing the operating pole from the winding mechanism proves to be a more than fiddly operation everytime I use it.
Does anyone have any tips on the correct or any method of making this what to me should be any easy task just that, please?
Sorry if this has been asked before but even using the site search operation I haven't been able to dig up the answer.

Show us the problem as I don't remember the make of my old awning. (y)

Someone might notice a bit worn or missing or needs adjusting

Yes I struggle getting the winder out ,other times it’s easy it seem that you need to move it at an angle away from the van,but it’s very frustrating 👍

The angle is key 👍 plus the windy end has a rivet that once you know you line up with the slot 👍

(I think it lines up, if not it’s 90 degree rotation 😁)

I get the same thing, but have found if you make a sharp movement to the opposite way you have been winding this seems to work 8 times out of ten. But must admit it's a little hit or miss.

Cheers

I believe it’s push up, rotate, slide out- but everyone’s made differently…….😁
