Never heard anyone say that before, E&P is owned by AL-KO but as far as know it has nothing to do with either of them.and I believe HPC is owned by E&P.
Our HPC console and app has the E&P logo, that’s where my info originated.Never heard anyone say that before, E&P is owned by AL-KO but as far as know it has nothing to do with either of them.
Do the hydraulic rams have enough ground clearance ?No, but we’ve had the E&P system fitted to our Adria Compact Supreme SC. Wouldn’t be without it now.
Yep, we had a HPC system fitted on our compact supreme dl, what do you want to know?Has anyone fitted the HPC auto levelling system onto Adria compact supreme DL
Where did they fit the oil tank and hydraulic pump? No, but we’ve had the E&P system fitted to our Adria Compact Supreme SC. Wouldn’t be without it now.

It was fitted under the bench seat by the hab doorWhere did they fit pump unit and oil tank
Yes, they’re close enough to the centrelines of the axles high enough to clear any obstacles. It’s never been an issue. I’ve fitted a Thule electric step to the hab door that’s lower than the foot of the ram and more central in the wheelbase, and that’s never grounded out either.Do the hydraulic rams have enough ground clearance ?
Externally and up between the chassis rails in a purpose designed compartment.Where did they fit the oil tank and hydraulic pump?
That great not taking up to much space also keeping extra weight in the middleIt was fitted under the bench seat by the hab door
Did you have to get smaller pads on rear jacksYep, we had a HPC system fitted on our compact supreme dl, what do you want to know?
Do you mind me asking, how much you paid ? ThanksThrowing an option into the mix, we have recently had M-Level https://m-level.co.uk/ fitted to our MH that is a Mercedes Tractor Head with AlKo chassis.
Very happy. Lower price. Installed by VanBitz.
Yes I like the look of the E&P system, and the controller is much nicer than the others. I contacted M-level today, they were extremely knowledgeable about the product, and of course its much cheaper and British made. However I didn't like the fact that the hydraulic motor is only protected by a bit of heat shrink plastic. I really like the look off the HY4 system which can be easily removed if you change vehicle and all parts are extremely well protected by solid plastic covers, it also extends further than the E&P and the M-Level and has more ground clearance than the M-Level. However it is more expensive. I don't know if anyone on here has experience with the HY4 system who could comment ?I was looking at HPC, called into a fairly local supplier/fitter, it was like talking to a piece of wet string. Ai asked how much do the legs affect ground clearance, the answer "it dies a bit but I don't really know". I then asked can the pump be installed under the chassis "oh no it has to go inside". I gave up at that point, he could have easily asked one of their engineers but the bloke didn't seem interested at all.
The price was only £250 cheaper than E&P so if we decide to go for jacks it will be E&P and we have local reliable company (Rosmia) that can fit them.
Hy4 is good but getting bit pricy also it's a lot heavier. I ruled out due the each jack being a lot heavier and I'm trying to keep the weight down on the rear axle as I can only go to 2240kg max.Yes I like the look of the E&P system, and the controller is much nicer than the others. AS Suspension in Warrington are the people to fit HPCI was looking at HPC, called into a fairly local supplier/fitter, it was like talking to a piece of wet string. They do seem to do a better job than others but a 520 mile round trip, E&P installer 20 miles away.AS Suspension in Warrington are the people to fit HPC![]()
Yes, valid point. They have uk support only, and we also will be mainly out of the uk. I think I was quoted 68kg for the Hy4 but I'm not sure what the E&P weigh.Hy4 is good but getting bit pricy also it's a lot heavier. The M Level looks interesting but I don't think there is much in the way of support outside of the UK and we hardly use the van in the UK. Also the hydraulic pipes are pre made and they coil the excess up under the van.
E&P is 55kg and the Jack's are half the weight of the Hy4 ones.Yes, valid point. They have uk support only, and we also will be mainly out of the uk. I think I was quoted 68kg for the Hy4 but I'm not sure what the E&P weigh.
Ahh.. right. So something else to consider. ThanksE&P is 55kg and the Jack's are half the weight of the Hy4 ones.
You could have a tour around the Peak District or North Wales, a night in a hotel in or around Warrington whilst it’s done, Cath or Phil (the owners) would take you to your hotel. They do seem to do a better job than others but a 520 mile round trip, E&P installer 20 miles away.
Not much fun in December or January unless you can guarantee me 30°cYou could have a tour around the Peak District or North Wales, a night in a hotel in or around Warrington whilst it’s done, Cath or Phil (the owners) would take you to your hotel.
