Hi.
My Fiat Ducato campervan, reg Feb 2016 is grigio alluminio body colour.
Have fitted uprated springs at front, new leaf springs at rear, KYB gas shocks all round and semi-air bags on leaf springs.
Ride height now 3" higher.
Thinking of Wolfrace Eurosport Transporter wheels in diamond black. This will compliment the Black trim bumpers, awning etc.
Also, they are TUV approved, and easy to clean and maintain.
But, have a few questions.
What pros/cons between 15" and 16" wheels?
What have you fitted?
What tyres would you recommend?
We use it all year, winter use is mainly our normal runaround.
Also, we use mainly camping and caravan club sites and cs.
How do I know if I have TPS, can I simply deflate a tyre and would the warning lamp light up?
If I do have them is it possible that they might have been disabled?

I think aftermarket wheels are commonly available in 15,16 ,17" with correct pcd.

Do check they have correct load rating too. I would go 16" over 15" as that's what manufacturers (eg Fiat) do on their heavier chassis.

Why not just ask the seller what they recommend, I’m sure they will know what will fix your axles

Just bought these Borbet CW5 (load rating 1400KG, TUV, 118 x 5PCD) nice looking alloy and colour IMO with Falken van all season 2 225/75/r16 120. Lifted her up by 30mm, Every little helps for ground clearance on these Baileys as most know. Got them from LK performance. Bit of a cock up with TPMS so had to get the old valves Re-fitted and old tyres disposed of. Sold old alloys without tyres as cracking all over and probably not square previous owner only did 1000 miles in a year. But loving the new tyres on the road Net cost so far £250 a corner just waiting on 15" alko carrier to be sold. So all in all I thought not to bad

I had all tanks full so that was worst case scenario.
Even standard 108 load rating would be OK but I will go for higher.

What was the original load spec for the van, that will be your min requirement

I am leaning towards 16" but already have good ground clearance. My holiday trim weigh bridge readings were 1620 front and 1500 rear. Max is 3500Kg.
I had all tanks full so that was worst case scenario.
Even standard 108 load rating would be OK but I will go for higher.

Correction, I was thinking tyre load rating.
The Wolfrace Euro transporter wheels I fancy have good load rating of 1210Kg each.

Are you sure the rear is only 1500kg fully loaded, that’s light.

weigh bridge certificate says so!
We were fully loaded at the time.
It's a MWB, converted it ourselves; used lightweight boards througout.

Do you not mean at least the same or higher spec?
My holiday trim weight is 3120 but max permissible is 3500Kg.
Present tyres are 109 rates which is 4120Kg in total.
Wheels I fancy are 4840Kg in total.
Will go for tyres rated at 112 or higher.
More than adequate for the van.
