Why are MH's and Campercars still fitted with all-but obsolete technology?

My other half thinks (knows) I'm not cutting edge, but 15 months ownership and the screen is removed (turned on and out) and the wall bracket and aerial aggravating.

Is this just a mod-con essential, I've missed 😞?

Television ?

Many people enjoy it when away, if you don't watch it you may as well bin it
Not really seeing the need to complain about it though
Just that we pay for "it".

Technology moves faster than the service life of a motorhome. So what was standard a few years ago may no longer be so. My previous van had 2 TVs, a satellite dish, an aerial. My current one has none of that, but a simple wifi antenna and I use my laptop.

And motorhome owners are, in the main, not in the first flush of youth so may simply continue with what they are accustomed to.

Buy a German van TV is on the options list its not standard
