Recently on here I was given lots of info about touring Scotland. Very grateful.
Someone suggested crossing Rannoch Moor
We thought, coming from Falkirk, cross the moor to the coast near Fort William.
Does anyone know whether we can overnight anywhere on the moor?

That would not be a restful place - on a busy corner on the a82! - motorbikes and sports cars racing it past… no thanks

Parked there many a time no problem and great views

Parked there many a time just off the tarmac on the rough ground always had a peaceful nite , ok during the day the local bagpipe player is touting the tourist , but moves on after 6 pm
