I don’t as I don’t have a satellite dish. Take my laptop and use Sky Go instead.

Plug & Play but you will need an AC supply.
I had the same setup in a previous van and took my sky card from home when we were away.

you'll need a wideband LNB if your using your Sky Q reciever

You have to either use a compass and ideally a Sat meter
Not easy to do the first time but once you have an understanding of where the Astra satellite sits in orbit it’s easy enough

To the OP, I think you need to do a little bit of research by watching some you tube videos and reading various posts in this forum. If you don't understand it by then, you are prob better off attending a motorhome show/exhibition and talking direct to companies who can set it all up for you.

It's not difficult once you understand the process

You need dish mounted on a tripod or buy a dish that has a sucker mount. You need to find Astra and the best way is a compass and a meter.

If your on site look at other vans and see where their dish is pointing so you know the direction and pick a spot that does have a clear line of sight no obstruction.

Loads of videos about to get you started and the best tip I can give is practice at home first and get your head around it and it is easy simple to be honest.

How do I use the sky box in my motorhome.

I bought a motorhome a few months ago with the sky box connected to a snipe 2 satellite system and it works really well

aligning a satellite dish every time you stop gets boring very quickly. I use an APP on my phone, a pro satellite tuner and a lot of knowledge. Like knowing you need to be at least twice as far away from any bush or tree in the way as it is tall. Far easier to pick the right spot first time than have to move. And know sometimes it is impossible to get a signal

I now have an automatic oyster 3 on the van, but never use it. I need to have an internet connection anyway, so use that for the firestick which has apps to get all the channels I get at home and more
