Hi all,

We have a fixed Fiamma 70l fresh water tank and this week on site I noticed it was being compressed and therefore suspect the air intake valve (13mm according to web searches) isn't open. I don't have any fitting instructions. Could anyone advise how I can fix this myself please?

Both of these are blocked. Is the smaller one the air vent which I should drill open?

He smaller one usually has a tube fitted which runs up ad joins on to the filler fitting on the side of the van

I haven't done anything with this yet. Our van doesn't have an external filler, so the tank only has the pump connected. We fill via watering can and hose through the large red screw cap. Because there's no way for air to get into the tank, when in use the tank buckles/compresses which is what led me to believe there should a vent to allow air in.

I think the large opening is intended for a pipe from an external fill point, and the small one for an overflow.

Fit a piece of pipe that goes well above the red filler and drill a hole in the small grey plastic part. That way water won’t escape and will save having to keep opening the tank. It will also take some of the strain off the pump.

Will also spurt water into the van on every bump and corner. Take it outside the van.
