Hi. I am looking for a small hand held vacuum cleaner for the motorhome. Either running off 12V or re-chargeable via 12V supply. Don't want to spend too much

Does anybody have any recommendations please?

Hi we have a Dyson DC35 Animal for home use, we take that with us when we go away, very powerful hand held vac with big re chargeable battery, why buy 2

12v rechargeable?

A few years back - about 4 I think - we read a Which report telling us a certain Black & Decker was the best - so that's what we bought although there were indeed cheaper ones. We're still very happy together!

like Terry and pauline We have a dyson (dc59) for the house and just make sure it is charged before getting packed.
its not cheep but well worth the money id say its the best house / van gadget that we have.

Hi Jenny, been looking at one or two of the Black & Deckers, but have not seen a rechargeable one. Don't happen to have a model number do you please?

We too have the dc59... Great vacuum..
We used to have one of those black and decker ones... Small hand held one.. Try a dyson and you'll not look back.. (esp if you have a dog)

We already have a very good Miele vacuum cleaner at home (so my wife tells me ), so don't need another one for home thanks. Just looking for a small reasonable (up to £30 ish) one for the motorhome. Most of places we stop do not have EHUs hence the need for 12V one.

Has anybody used from Black & Decker? Or ?

The Black&Decker is excellent. We have the Flexi auto which plugs into ciggy lighter socket. Came from Halfords...can't fault it.

Is that the one that has a flexible hose attached around a circular centre bit which collects the dust? Like this one Broken Link Removed

Mine has servered her well. Had it for twenty years (wedding present from me). Well looked after, only had 6 new handles and 8 new heads.....(Sound familiar?)
