Adventure Preparations Start Today...

Soon to be off on another adventure so have decided to start preparing today.

I meet my Princess on Tuesday just south of Burgos.

We will go on a two van jaunt around Portugal.

So the first thing to do is write the list.

1. Do washing.
2. Get wipers fixed.
3. Get oil, oil filter, fuel filter and automatic gearbox oil changed.
4. Put pink bike on rack with the rusty blue one.

Not at all. It is a common fact that Princesses ride rusty bikes. Just look at Princess Anne, as a brief example.

Won't be "leaving" Portugal, DBK... until the big, Sky Blue Stadium in the sky sends me my season ticket...

(Except to meet my Princess in Burgos if course.)

and yes... two vans... one clean and tidy and the other one...

My Princess (Frankie aka Yodeli) will pull up in her lovely Hymer Camp 51...

a gorgeous woman...

in a motorhome...

ON HER OWN...

and all the blokes start getting excited.

In due course I arrive...

"Hi Sexy, want to come over to my place for coffee?"

"Yes please..."

and the blokes look at each other and think...

"Man... that old, big, tall, fat bloke knows how to pull..."

Have a great trip you two, we get the train on the 31st and head for Portugal, so sort out one of your fine restaurants and we take you out.
But Frankie will have to wait until we come back up past Toulouse sometime in May unless she extends her trip.
Look forward to seeing you both again, but maybe not at the same time................................. And talking about living in a motorhome and WILD CAMPING. Bob and Janie.

Sadly the early bird catches the worm and this bird arrived 2 minutes after and wait in line...

Now at hospital waiting for blood tranfusion.

The doctor is ready now...

Hymer back from hospital.

New oil, oil filter, fuel filter, greased, auto box oil level checked, front wheel bearings checked and two litres of extra oil supplied...

Oh, and I forgot... two chainsaw chains sharpened as well.

Not like UK or Scottish banks then!

You must stop believing what you read in the press or see on TV.

But if you doubt me, bring a reliable, guaranteed worldwide form of barter... either gold or Fray Bentos Pies... (no chicken or kidney).
