Both. I also have a 12 V cable that I will include. However, I found in my motorhome it did not work well and I had to use my Inverter. I think it might be sensitive to the 12 Volt option but not sure as that's beyound my electrical knowledge. We have found it to be a fantastic device over the years especially when over wintering in Spain or Morocco as we could play films. TV shows etc., anytime we wanted too. I would just download stuff onto my laptop when in the UK then transfer it onto the Media Box. Job Done. There might be 80 odd major films already on there. Maybe more.
