I have been reading about skuttle problems on Fiat/Peugeot models so thought I would have a look at mine as its in storage. Its a 2014 (manufactured 2013) Boxer bought last year.
Looked under the bonnet and there is an inch dia pipe from the skuttle on the drivers side, which was disconnected from the mating part which goes out of the wheel arch. These two pipes do not overlap so is there some sort of joint thats missing.
Worse still, the Drivers side skuttle is loose. You can pull it from the window, and the push in clips have come out and one seems to have snapped. I cant see properly without taking it off.
Is removal easy?
Any idea how many clips are in, and are there any aftermarket ones. I have been to Peugeot today and they are a back order part, 8251EN.
I havent looked under the engine cover to see how rusty the injectors are yet - putting that off
