What is this slider knob for? (1 Viewer)

I have this under the lounge seat in my '22 Adria Twin.
Nothing in the (not so useful) user manual.
It looks like an air mixer (for what?), but the picture next to it could be of the wastewater tank?
Does anyone know what it is and how it works?

It allows heat to circulate around your water tank to stop it freezing.

Up = on
Down = off

As above it's to keep your tank warm, we had similar in our Adria

To keep underslung waste tank from freezing. Slide it up to circulate air around the tank. Make sure its closed if not below freezing. It wastes a lot of hot air.

waste of heat..

In feeling conditions , I keep the waste tank drain valve open and drain into a bucket

bucket freezes and you dump a big ice cube
