We are considering buying a different Hymer motorhome and it comes with an Oyster dish and a controller showed in the photo, together with the Hymer telly.
We currently have a Status TV aerial for normal telly and then we stream using our Panorama aerial and Teltonika router. We’ve never had a dish in a motorhome and don’t really want one but it’s there. (No TV aerial or WiFi)
Our questions are:
1/ Can we watch free UK TV using the dish?
2/ Can we somehow get our Netflix, Prime subscriptions through a dish?
3/ Can we use BBC iplayer, ITVX, More 4 etc by satellite?
I suspect the answer is no to 2 and 3 without some sort of subscription to something.
Virgin novices on Satellite stuff.
I’m trying to avoid the additional expense of installing WiFi all over again.

enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
1 depends on where in UK/EU you are and line of sight to the satellite from the dish - but generally yes.
2/3 i think those are internet provided channels - anything provided by internet cant be accessed from your dish
