UK sites that allow waste disposal without staying? (3 Viewers)

I see a few people have made lists on various things, was wondering if anyone had a list of sites in the UK with grey & black waste facilities that let you dump and run (ie not staying there)? For a fee, of course.

I'm laboriously clicking on and contacting places, but all so far have said no and it's taking ages.

I'll start a list if no one else has, but any known sites to give me a leg up would be gratefully received, even if they're no use to me for this weekend.

Thats a good list but its specifically for (if I understand it correctly) drive-over tank emptying.
It would be useful to have a similar list for standard cassette emptying.

AFAIK...The CMC don't allow a refill/empty facility at any price....I know cos I stopped and asked when I was a paid up member at The Fort William Site.
The CCC used to offer the service, hopefully still do, but if available it was pricy, I think even 5/6 years ago it was £7.50.
There must be info available somewhere, like maybe SFS, or P4N as the van lifers use it if they get stuck, which I bet is not that often.

That's a good question - what do van lifer's do? Bet they don;t stop at campsites every coiuple of days - or maybe they do?

certain ccc sites offer a 3hr stop for fresh water, black waste, use of showers etc, go on to their website and its possible to search available sites.

Why do people who make the decision to park up Wild or any other free stop overs, then think they should allowed to dump waste and get water free or moan about being charged at sites for the disposal ???

I'm not sure all 'wild' campers expect that!

I am more than happy to pay for this facility and do not begrudge another making a few quid profit from my offerings!

Camping Skye at Broadford, Isle of Skye. £3 water fill only or £8 full service. Excellent facility run by local community. Mind you after chatting to the lovely lady on reception we ended up spending more in the shop than if we'd stayed overnight!

Nice to see a few Fylde council carparks allowing MH overnight stops. Not cheap for little if no facilities, but still.

Just out of curiosity - what can you put into a sluice? Sounds like grey & black to me, but just to be sure ...

The C&MC say they don't allow 'pit stops' because it encourages or supports 'off -site' camping ..

Thanks to you both for that - for whatever reason (though probably the most obvious) I couldn't find that.

Good to know there's a few about (just none near where I'm going to be this weekend - hey ho).

There are a few small camp sites with waste facilities near where I'm going to be, so I'm going to call them today and see what they say. Maybe a smaller site would appreciate some extra money. Or maybe they won't want the extra waste to deal with for only a few quid.
