During the night I can hear a gurgling from the red breather valve on the boiler, I always turn the pump off at night and when I switch it on in the morning it primes the system up. Sounds like there is air getting into the system, could it be the breather valve at fault or what?

Probably there is a one way valve inside the T piece. They are only about ten quid so worth replacing. Leisure Shop Direct normally keep stock.
