Just purchased one after reading some very positive reviews including on YouTube. Presently at home switched it on this afternoon to use as an overflow freezer. It froze down from 21 degrees to -18 in just over 30 minutes impressive, it’s a compressor fridge surprisingly quiet in operation and low power, comes with a mains transformer and a 12 volt lead with a ciggy socket plug the end of which can be removed which gives you a Hella type plug.
An added bonus is it has Bluetooth and a downloadable app for iOS or Android giving you total control over all the functions. Friend just back from Spain is very pleased with his running it on 12 volts, he has 2 solar panels and a Lithium leisure battery reckoned the power draw is 2 amps or less. It is very well insulated and keeps stuff frozen when power off overnight, yet to try this. Our van Dometic fridge has a small freezer compartment so this will give us more versatility and not have to shop so often.
Big plus is they are a lot less money to buy than the equivalent Dometic units.
