We met Dave & Polly the 1st time at The Lincoln Show 7 years ago, I shook his hand for being so brave having had extensive abdominal surgery, he seemed to recover well, and was always happy to stand in a Fun Rallies as a marshal.
We met Dave on many Fun Rallies after that, even brought in The New Year with him and the usual suspects on a few occasions.
Reading this news has saddened us both so much, as it was Dave & Polly that were always ready to muck in and make any Fun Rally a welcoming place, especially for any newbies such as we were back then and many rallies after that.
Love & Best Wishes to Polly & Family at this sad time.
