Mrs bags loves her Corrie and almost faced disaster tonight when in central Germany couldn’t get channel 3 (itv HD) but could get 115 (also itv HD) which works perfectly . Is it just par the course or is there a guide for where you are or some simple rules to follow ?

No idea, but since the switch over to HD channels only, I seem to get dozens that I didn't get before, mostly foreign. As you found, many of the UK main five are found up in the high numbers
I think Anthony at Oyster Tech has a fix for this but not explored that yet

West side of Germany you can get Astra 2 but as you go further east you lose it.
