Off we go on Sunday

Across the Chunnel
Two hours south in France - near Belgium border
Head towards cochem
South along the Moselle
East towards the romantic route
South towards fussen
South , south east along the Claudia Augusta
West towards Mantova
Swenson , DIL and maybe new grandson
3 days at Iseo and bumming around lakes
West towards France with route recommended by DBK . North west towards the Loire valley , west along the Loire
North toward Brittany / Normandy
East back toward Calais

Can’t wait 4-5 weeks off

Best wishes for the trip although that's an ambitious itinerary for 4/5 weeks. You can always linger of course when you find somewhere nice and cut something off the end. For example, missing out Brittany will save you a week if you are happy to just head back to the ferry.

Downside will be you miss Brittany.

Enjoy Iseo and try the hot chocolate they serve there - you can almost stand the spoon up in it. The local fizz is very much worth trying too.

Pack warm clothes and prepare for rain.We’ll be 10 days behind you, landing in Dieppe on May 7th. Our loose plan is to get to Luxembourg, see how the weather is doing, then if wet and cold, we’ll go South and do the Rhine and Moselle on the way back. However, we have 3 months to play about with. Enjoy your trip and we may bump into you along the road

Yeah we may have to trim it a little but that’s the beauty of the MH - we also might have to extend it if little Jewellbags comes along
