Has anyone of these cameras by any chance? Do you like it? Any regrets for not getting the GR III? I'd welcome your thoughts, even if you don't have the camera!

I don't use my Fuji kit as much as I should so thinking of getting a simple point and shoot.

Long time
Nowt wrong with point & shoot!
Used to have SLR & lots of lenses, then went digital, found I wasn’t using it, got a Canon point & shoot, easier, simpler and good zoom.

Hi Shrimp I am like yourself. I have a mirrorless camera and all the lens and its become too heavy for me these days. It has to go, so a wee point and shoot it is. I did like the simplicity of the Ricoh and may well take a close look at one, one day.

All the best.

Modern smart phone camera's are amazing these days. My new phone has a choice of 4 lenses and I need nothing better these days.

Plus It's alway the picture not the quality that's more important

I thought about buying a new iPhone, it's a good solution.

Point and shoot ,16megspixel , 16xOptical zoom, SONY CYBERSHOT DSC-HX9V
The Sony HX9V is easily slipped in a pocket, it's an old model now and can be bought used for £30-50!!

No need to spend loads of dosh on the latest technology and highest pixel count, get a used .. in good condition/working order.

For low light, long distance it is not very good, groups and people the flash turns out accurate colours, quality images.

In sunlight outdoors, I was amazed at the 16 optical zoom results.

Here are sample pics using the same viewpoint and the zoom target is red circled.

I have used URL Links you can pixel peep the quality of the zoom pictures.
