Heading from Lyon to Clermont ferrand and then towards amboise
.
. Any personal site recommendations for a night maybe two - view is critical or next to a drop dead gorgeous village .

I will continue my s4s, cc, camping car , park for night search but maybe , just maybe you have found “the one”

Fingers crossed 🤞

camping and caravanning since a kid. New to motorhomes
Half way over the bridge into amboise there is a site (I’le d’or) Excellently located and reasonable price. We stayed there last year for a few days. Walk into the town.
There is also a camping car park next door.

Also stayed on the site at Vouvray between Ambois and Tours. Can’t remember the name but it's on S4S.
Again very nice. There is an aire next door too.

We are aiming for the amboise one but it’s a stretch for me old bones in one day but I’ll look at the other cheers BikerGraham
Town of Gennes just west of Saumur has a lovely municipal site with a fab bistro /restaurant just outside the car park at the entrance to the site from the towns main road. Good supermarket up the road too.

Again can’t remember the name but it’s on S4S.
