Just thinking about a week or 2 in Morocco in November to extend our Schengen time a little. Is Morocco busy in November? Do I need to book campsites or can we just wing it?

No it's not busy in November and I an not aware of any sites that accept bookings

It's not just for Morroco. We are planning Northern Spain and Portugal. Due to other Euro trips this year we can only spend 6 weeks in Spain/Portugal in October/November before we run out of days. . We thought a little nip across the water would enable us to extend to our usual 8 weeks. We could go longer but will probably this is a little trial for a more major trip in 2025.

We went to Morocco for just the day once!

The ferry from Spain to Morocco is around 280 euros plus the green card insurance you need. That's what Just smiffy was referring to.
