I love it.

Had a 101 gs in Australia for a while , not the best cab for hot climate , need to load it to keep the propshaft angles happy , very thirsty and the steering column is deadly for kneecaps :) The 11b FC much nicer to drive

When I see these trucks, especially the 1st one, why is it I always think of this classic WW2 Film. "Ice Cold in Alex"

I Ton LR Ambulance they were renowned for their unreliability, remember them well in my early army days.
It was a happy happy day when I carried out the disposal inspections on our fleet of 1 Ton Ambulances and took a 1 for 1 exchange with the new Landrover wolf ambulances, I probably swiped 500 hours of maintenance from the forecast, plus they came with the warranty, so dropped off at the German Landrover dealership for repair work šŸ‘šŸ»

Having had to run a fleet of them in the army, Iā€™d say itā€™s lovely to look at, but Iā€™d never want to own or drive one again šŸ˜
Agreed. We had quite a few in the Air Force. 3.5 litre petrol engine, high centre of gravity, which meant that inexperienced drivers tended to turn them over. Useless cross country until we found the right tyres - surprising the difference it made. Lovely to look at, takes loads of kit, but wouldn't want to own one.
(What I really would like is a lightweight).
